Set with Final Lighting and Animation.

Early Ocean Animation Test, I wanted to really slow it down. I used Pixar's virtual aquariums on the bonus features of Finding Nemo as a reference for the underwater movement.

This was an earlier "cheeky" pose I made before I rigged his legs with bendy bones. He couldnt reach the footrest so I had him surfing on the seat.

Due to the time constraints of the project I did use Zremesher for the final topology. Arnold's performance in T2 is quite static so I thought it would give him a "statuesque" performance.

T-Squidthousand

I wanted the metal to feel super cheesy, I'd still like to do a proper sim for the puddle scene.

Geo Nodes Lookdev I did, It added too much complexity so I kept it to the simple toon shaders. I do all my work on a laptop with 16gb of ram and didnt feel like paying for a renderfarm. The geo nodes setup was purchased from https://tradigital.gumroad.com

I had a lot of fun with this; Akira and Terminator were big influences of mine while I worked on next gen, trying to recapture that excitement about the medium that I had back then.

I might keep adding to this in the future, I had originally wanted to recreate the whole T2 trailer with SpongeBob characters but I’m only one man and this takes way longer than I would like. We’ll see what happens…
