I used this project to learn how blenders native asset management system works. When i was at Tangent Animation we had created our own custom asset manager but the ui wasn’t nearly as nice as what’s in blender now.
I created my own custom material and asset library and built my set using my own assets. I’m planning on doing some render tests in unreal with these but I think that’ll be a project for down the road.
I really want to compare render times between unreal and cycles, as I think cycles still looks better and my render times have gone down quite a bit over the different versions of blender that have come out since Maya and the Three. Curious how Eevee Next would handle this scene as well…
